Press-Fit & Spiral Inserts

Spiral inserts, knurled inserts, t-nuts and press fit inserts are post applied inserts. The inserts are generally used in plastic, wood or other semi-soft materials. Press fit inserts can be used with solid substrates such as stone or concrete with an adhesive.

• Press-fit inserts have external knurling that hold the insert firm and prevent spinning when a mating bolt is used.
• Press Fit inserts can be used with glue of an adhesive for added strength
• Spiral inserts are driven into place with a hex wrench or drill
• The over-sized flange on spiral inserts prevents overdriving of the insert
• Spiral inserts are driven into place with large external threads that cut into the substrate
